I was out last night at Lake Chelan and wanted to capture a shot of the moon. Earlier this week is was a sliver and looked really cool but I like being able to see more texture with more of the surface visable.

Shot with a Canon 60D and Canon 70-200mm f/2.8, this was my first real attempt to shoot the moon. I was also trying to get some star shots but there was just too much ambient light  to make them interesting (you can just barely make out the Milky Way).
